At RenaLabs they do dialysis testing and processing. Our objective with this shoot was to showcase the various functions and proficiency of their facility and staff. The real challenge here was to shoot a fully operational lab while everyone was working.

This massive staircase rises thirty feet in the air and dominates the front door of the Hospital. The real challenge was to fit everything in the frame, the solution was six separate images, three exposures each and then stitching everything together in Photoshop. That and keeping people from walking down the stairs as we were shooting.

We shot at sunrise. Well, as close to sunrise as the bank would let us in. 8:45. This is a set of blended exposures due to the time constraints and number of images needed of this location.

Just a nice straight-forward image of a corporate boardroom, right? Wrong. As with any interior location, no one seems to have the time to let us set up lights and stage like we need to. So this again is a composite image with the table and chairs from one shot, floor and walls from another, lights from yet one more. You get the idea.

Shooting a newly finished construction site is neither pretty, nor a good idea, but sometimes these things cannot be avoided. Southland had finished these lofts in December, we had to shoot in January to have the site up by February. So needless to say, we did a bit of retouching and rebuilding on this guy as well.

We were shooting lifestyle shots on this lake in Mississippi for Challenger Tackle and we needed some "wild art" shots. Up at 5AM to shoot is good for 2 things, early morning light and a nap after lunch. This was the cabin next door to where we were staying.

When the Tom Black Center for Selling called and asked us to shoot all of the supporting images for their new website and collateral material. We shot at Tom's home, which happened to be a 35,000 square foot estate complete with this beautiful little guest house.

This is where we live, well, not in this house, but this is downtown Franklin. The challenge here was to show downtown Franklin, without it feeling like every other image produced from this area.

This beautiful beach resort was very difficult to shoot. Full sun, white puffy clouds, tall jungle trees that cast long shadows in the afternoon. It was a tricky shoot but we got past it.

Cumberland Transit is a Nashville fixture, so when we had the opportunity to shoot the store for their new collateral pieces and website, I was excited. It took close to an hour of staging alone but something about capturing the feel of the shop in one shot is worth it.

24-foot long red drapes are pretty dramatic, let alone 3 that were hand-stitched. Shooting in this beautiful home in Brentwood had two major obstacles: one, too much eye catching design and two, windows that ran along the north wall. Well, we overcame and discovered this jewel in the appropriately-named great room.
