Cheese and Fruit Knife
Master Grinding makes knives. Not the fancy kind of knives that you use to impress your friends; they make the real deal kitchen knives that will last forever. And yes, that half wheel of manchego was delicious.

We had the opportunity to do 99% of the photography for Master Grinding, Knife Pro and Knife Spa sites. Go take a peek at MasterGrinding.com.
Book Arc
Recently Andrew Green, formerly of DLO and Griffin, started the Mac only accessory company, Twelve South. With Apple and Crate&Barrel as our inspiration we created some pretty dynamic images.
Client: Twelve South
Location: Nashville, TN
Again, we did most all of the photography for them so if you'd like to see more go see their site, Twelve South.
John Deere Boots
Did you ever have a set of shoes that you wore every day without question? Well, that’s the type of shoes John Deere makes. So we went out to a sod farm west of Nashville and got the chance to play with some great scenery in the country.

Arrow Rest
Aparently Mid-Atlantic archery makes the fastest arrow rests and the most deadly arrow heads in the industry. Well, here's a shot of one of their rests, the Tri-Van Multi-Adjust Pro. The real challenge here was shooting dark grey and black on seamless black.

Dell Eco Bamboo Computer
This computer is something like 80% smaller than a standard desktop and uses less than 70% of the power needed to push a larger CPU. And it's made from recycled materials like old bottles, milk jugs and detergent cases.

Jo-Bee
Jo-Bee has been a client for a long time, usually we do overhead product shots for their print and web catalogue, but this year we did a cool series for their catalogue cover shot and trade show graphics.

Iced Carmel Macchiato
This is one of my favorite cups of coffee. As challenging as it can be to shoot food, I really enjoy it. We shot this on white, literally two feet from the espresso machine. Not great for keeping the "set" clean.

BioVentures Products
For BioVentures we had a unique task, take a set of DNA sequencer machines and make them look "sexy" and "modern." Well with some clever angles and some great art direction mirror finshed black plastic, looks sexy and moden.

20lb Blue Propane Cylinder
Lite Cylinder makes resin propane tanks and in the imaging they wanted to show off the fact that you can see your level of fuel. What a concept! This is what we came up with.

Massenburg Wall
Chris Havens of The Sound Haven asked me to come shoot a series of images for his new site, all beauty shots showcasing his studio’s unique features.
Client: The Sound Haven
Location: Spring Hill
Chris built a free-standing Massenburg / Schroeder diffusion panel that really transforms the sound in his studio. You have to match this with a glowing blue mic.
Machine Plates
Sometimes the composition trumps the object. Working with these 1/4
inch thick steel machine plates was one of those times..

Another example from the same shoot is the saw blades from the home page.
Chili with a Fresh Jalapeño
I have a passion for food. I love to eat. I love to cook. This shot was a comp shot for a possible cookbook.
